In February, Arctic Cat unveiled its plans for a 50-inch wide, trail-ready Arctic Cat Wildcat that should actually be shipping very, very soon. According to a release on Power Sports Business, Arctic Cat should start shipping out these badass rides in the 2014 fiscal fourth quarter.

The narrower stance of the new Arctic Cat Wildcat model will allow riders access to authorized ATV trails, making the 50-inch Wildcat a versatile option for those who love to take their rides further. The 50-inch Arctic Cat Wildcat trail model further expands Arctic Cat’s Wildcat line, which was named Dirt Trax Magazine’s “Best-In-Class Extreme Performance ROV.”

This analyst’s quote about sums it up:

“We are encouraged by the addition of the 50-inch Wildcat and the continuing expansion of the Wildcat lineup…,” Feltl and Company analyst Mark Smith reports in research note provided to Power Sports Business. “We believe this will be a 700cc motor, and expect the pricing to be lower than other Wildcat products and closer to the RZR 570 from Polaris. We think the dealer reception to this news is positive.”
