Here at Side by Side Stuff we love to ride and when we hit the trails we really go for it. However, sometimes the terrain wants to hit us back hard as well and that’s why we offer a full range of aftermarket underbelly skid plates and guards for a variety of machines like the Polaris RZR, Polaris Ranger and Can Am Maverick. These upgrades are often a quick and easy install that can be done in the comfort of your own garage and with some simple tools. So with a little time and effort you can keep your SxS safe from damage while out on the trails.

sss offroad full UTV skid plateThe undercarriage protection that your machine comes with is a great starting point, but if you plan on getting out with friends and family and cruising those debris packed trails you are definitely going to want to keep you and your Side by Side safe from unforeseen objects puncturing the floor of your rig, causing expensive and unwanted damage. That’s where aftermarket accessories such as a skid plate or guards are a great option for your machine! Most skid plates from manufacturers like SSS Offroad or Factory UTV are made from an Ultra High Molecular Weight polymer. The UHMW is known for its superior resistance to gouging from rocks and logs and its superior fracture resistance. This means that your SxS can take some pretty hard hits while out on the trails and still maintain an undamaged underbelly. By using the UHMW it makes for a stronger and longer lasting protective skid that is sure to last on your UTV for years to come.

At Side By Side Stuff we offer full kits which include a-arm guards and underbelly skids that include both front and rear sections; as well as just individual pieces if you want to add on to your machines already existing coverage.  Take a look at the options for your machine at SideBySideStuff.com.
