Many UTV brands can easily translate from summer activities and exploration to winter work, shoveling and hauling. Having a UTV that is set up for the job can make the difference between machines that will work with you or one that will fight you at every turn. Here are a few ways to get your side by side ready for the winter weather, ice and cold with new UTV parts.

  • DoorsDoors for your side by side can be a great place to start to get you prepared for cold weather. There are many options for each model and can have distinct features to separate them from more “three-season” doors that could not withstand harsh temps. Steel or plastic doors can be a great for all weather.

  • Heaters – Universal cab heaters can be an option to warm the inside of the cab. Many of the heaters will hook up to the cooling system in your UTV and easily heat the small space of the cab. The Universal UTV cab heater by Aqua-Hot can be a great fit for many models such as Kawasaki Mules and John Deere Gators.

  • Windshield – A UTV windshield will help to keep your SxS comfortable during the winter. There are options to choose from for many different side by side models that can help to protect you from the cold and offer versatility for any activities.
