2019 High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals
Quadna Mountain Park
June 6th – 9th
Hill City, Minnesota
Many of you know that aftermarket accessory company High Lifter Products is well known for throwing some of the best SxS mud parties in the nation, hence the name Mud Nationals. Each June, High Lifter and the Mud Nationals team treks up to Qudana Mountain Park in Hill City, Minnesota to host the premier mud party in the northern part of our country, the High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals.
2019 marks the 7th year for the annual event, and with great success, this year’s attendance count was one of the biggest to date. Drawing in mud enthusiasts by the thousands, the event not only attracts many local riders but riders from all over the northern region of the United States and Canada. Along with the help of local riding club North Woods Quads, the Mud Nationals Events team hosted a fantastic weekend full of trail riding, mud bogging, camping and a jam-packed schedule full of activities.
From group rides and a poker run to a sled pull and the mud bog race, there was no shortage of activities for the whole family. Each activity included a variety of prizes and payouts for participants.
One of our favorite events on the schedule was the obstacle course. Many participants stepped up to the challenge to get the best time through the obstacle filled circuit which featured deep mud, rocks, logs, tires, a teeter totter jumps and more. It was exciting to see the high speed action up close.
The event featured a large vendor area where many aftermarket UTV parts and accessory companies where set up, including MSA Offroad Wheels, EFX Performance Tires, Rockford Fosgate, MBRP Powersports, MB Quart, Hifonics, ITP Tire and Wheel and KFI Products.
Aside from aftermarket accessory companies and some really good places to eat, you could find Can-Am set up in the vendor area as well. Can-Am displayed their latest fleet of ATVs and side by sides at the event.
Each evening the party rocked into the morning hours with live music from country music star Matt Farris and The Half Baked Outlaws. They put on several excellent performances and had the crowd pumped up with some great music.
What was once an old ski resort, now an off-road park with over 1,000 acres of OHV riding, Quadna Mountain Park features a vast trail system that is well maintained with a variety of terrain. From hill climbs to creek crossings, there’s something for riders of all type of skill levels. The park also connects to the Aitkin County Northwoods ATV Trail system, this system consists of hundreds of miles of interconnected trails throughout Aitkin County that are very well maintained and marked.
All in all the 2019 High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals was huge success. Quadna Mud Nats is one hell of a mud party that you’ll want to put on your schedule each year; we encourage you to join us next year for the 2020 High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals.
