We met with Brian Sherman from Hifonics at the 2016 Sand Sports Super Show. Brian was kind enough to show us the new Hifonics Thor Sound Bars for side by sides.

All Thor sound bars feature a cast extruded aluminum structure, a sealed PC board, a heavy duty aluminum grill, a white LED map light, large center mounted controls and large waterproof buttons. They also feature RCA jacks preamp output connection with preamp output voltage ranger of 2V fixed, 3.5mm audio connections and memory syncing Bluetooth. The minimum operating voltage is 9.5v and all of the wiring connections are sealed and mounting points are secured into the aluminum parts.

The TPS6, 6 speaker sound bar, includes four 3 inch high energy integrated midrange / bass drivers with poly composite cones and Butyl rubber, two 1 inch titanium dome tweeters with Neodymium magnets and a built in Hifonics SUPER HPD (High Power Digital) amplifier. The TPS6 has an adjustable track for installation of clamps up to 20″ apart.

The TPS10, 10 speaker sound bar, includes eight 3 inch high energy integrated midrange / bass drivers with poly composite cones and Butyl rubber, two 1 inch titanium dome tweeters with Neodymium magnets and a built in Hifonics SUPER HPD (High Power Digital) amplifier. The TPS10 has an adjustable track for installation of clamps up to 32″ apart.

Ride in style with Thor sound bars with the switchable illumination colors and various lighting modes, switch between colors manually (blue, purple, red, pink, green, light green, light blue, yellow and white) or use a “mode”. You can choose between 3 different modes,  Mode 1 slowly cycles thorough all the colors,  Mode 2 cycles thorough all colors as well but does so by blinking. Mode 3 has all illumination off.

Additionally all Thor Sound Bars include mounting hardware for 1.5″, 1.75″ and 2″ roll cages as well as end cap angle brackets for flat surface mounting.
