Mud Nationals is more than just an event; it’s a yearly pilgrimage. What started back in 2003 as a simple gathering for riders to test their machines and celebrate off-road culture has exploded into one of the largest SxS gatherings on the planet. This year, the tradition continued in Sabine, TX, and the Side By Side Stuff crew was right in the thick of it.
We spent five incredible days with the High Lifter crew, playing in the mud, meeting the community, and soaking up the unrivaled atmosphere that only Mud Nats can provide.
The schedule was packed from sunrise to long after sunset. Whether you were there for the technical builds or the raw power of the races, there was something to see:
Polaris Show N Shine: We saw some of the most intricate, high-end builds in the country. The creativity in the SxS community continues to hit new levels every year.
Yamaha Poker Run: A classic staple that let riders explore the Sabine terrain while vying for the best hand.
Outlaw Mud Races: For those who live for the competitive side, the races provided the high-octane adrenaline fix everyone was looking for.
Pile all those events with musical chairs, Plinko, a fully loaded Vendor Village and some kick ass concerts, and you have yourself a party that you won’t soon forget!
To celebrate our time in Texas, we wanted to give back to the riders who make this sport what it is. We hosted a Trail Scavenger Hunt, and the response was massive!
Riders hit the trails looking for the win, and we were stoked to hand out over 200 Dry Bags loaded with swag. A huge shoutout goes to our incredible vendors who helped make these bags legendary: MotoAlliance, MBRP, KFI Products, High Lifter, Seizmik, MTX Audio, and Falcon Ridge. We could not have done it without you!
Since this was our first year back in the mud at Nats, we decided to go big. In addition to the scavenger hunt, we hosted several premium giveaways throughout the week. We teamed up with some of the industry’s heavy hitters, MTX Audio, MBRP Exhausts, HitchDoc Outdoors, Seizmik, Falcon Ridge, and KFI Products, to get some top-tier gear into the hands of lucky riders.
Between the deep mud pits and the late night campfire stories, Mud Nationals 2026 reminded us why we do what we do. There is no community quite like the off-road family. We’re already looking forward to the next one, we’ll see you in the parks!
