Trinity Racing's 155 HP YXZ 1000R "Project Mako" - Side By Side Stuff

Trinity Racing has been creating horsepower for the off-road industry for decades and is one of the most recognized performance companies world-wide, primarily known for their power-making UTV exhaust systems. With the recent release of the Yamaha YXZ 1000R, the guys at Trinity Racing jumped at the opportunity to get their hands on one, not only to design a Trinity Racing exhaust system for the machine, but to build a YXZ that would represent the Trinity Racing Brand.

Trinity Racing’s YXZ 1000 R, “Project Mako”, was built by SDR Motorsports and uses their full cage. This mean SxS features a turbo charger from Mountain Performance Inc. pumping out 155 hp with the Trinity Racing Turbo Shorty Header and Stage 5 Slip On Muffler. The aftermarket body from Glazzkraft, dubbed the “Alpha Wide Body Kit” was wrapped by Get More Wraps. Lonestar Racing provided their +3.5 Long Travel Suspension and axles that were paired with Elka Stage 5 Long Travel Shocks with dune valving. It’s got OMF Superlight 14” Billet Beadlock Wheels wrapped in Pro Armor 28” Sand Tires. Also from Pro Armor are their G3 Carbon Fiber Seats with 3” harnesses, and a set of their 30” Crawler XG tires for the dirt. KC HiLITES provided the extra lighting with their Flex 40” Light Bar and 12” Flex Bumper Light Bar. Mako is also running Rugged Radios Dual Mac 1 Air Pumpers and VX2200 Car To Car & RRP360 Intercom System. Stopping power comes from Streamline Brakes. And to round it all out it’s got Safe Glow Dual LED Whips.
