Early Morning Hunt in Your Side-By-Side

If you’re a hunting enthusiast, you know how critical it is to get an early start on the day if you want to bag a prize buck. After all, it doesn’t matter if you have top-notch gear if you can’t get into position while the deer are out. You need to get moving extra early to put a shot in a trophy whitetail, and then load it up on your side-by-side cargo racks.

Your UTV is the ideal vehicle for early-morning hunting excursions.  It will get you deep into the wilderness quickly, and you won’t have to waste any time navigating terrain that would be difficult to cross in another vehicle. As you head out to find your trophy buck, here are some tips for early morning hunting.

Bring Supplies

For the early morning hunter, side-by-side cargo racks are absolutely critical for storing all the supplies you’ll need for your hunt. If you’re heading out the door extra early, you probably won’t have time to eat much of a breakfast, so you likely need to bring plenty of food supplies to cover you for the time that you’ll be out on the hunt. Make sure to pack extra water, emergency supplies and plenty of ammo.

Light the Way

True hunters leave before the sun comes up, so they can be in position when the deer are out and about in the early morning. This means that you’ll be driving around in the dark for a good portion of the morning before the sun is up. Make sure you’ve got a quality lighting system installed on your side-by-side, so that you’ll be able to see where you’re going and avoid any undesirable off-road hazards that might cross your path.
