Camp RZR is all about the Polaris RZR. It’s also a way for Polaris to say thank you to those who support the RZR and what it has become. Some of the things that make Camp RZR fun is the great riding, Polaris RZR and Ace demo rides, as well as great live music all weekend. Until now Camp RZR had been a west coast thing but that all changed with the kick off of the first ever Camp RZR East at Brimstone.
Brimstone is an off-road park nestled in the “remote wilds” of northeastern Tennessee. Located just outside of Huntsville, Brimstone consists of almost 20,000 acres and is the perfect spot to hold Camp RZR East. Brimstone offers around 300 miles of trails from the easy to maneuver trails to the extreme and technical sections for advanced riders. There are lots of spots to camp, cabins to rent or many hotels within a short drive.
A big part of any Camp RZR is the Factory Polaris demo rides and Polaris had the machines lined up at Brimstone. If you had a valid drivers license you could sign up to test drive the 2015 machine of your choosing. We went for the new 570 Ace and had a blast riding it! Polaris also brought along the new RZR 900’s and RZR 1000’s for people to test ride on the closed course that Polaris set up.
Another big part of Camp RZR East was the Camp itself. Camp consisted of tons of Polaris display rigs of every flavor. They had the whole Polaris off road lineup on display from the wild and tricked out 2015 RZR XP 1000 High Lifter edition down to the bare bones 570 Ranger that is designed for working on the farm. Another neat addition to the Camp was the factory service center that was open all weekend with factory service technicians servicing broken or damaged vehicles. Lots of aftermarket parts vendors as well as food vendors were set up inside the Camp as well.
Entertainment was a big priority at Camp East with live music starting each day around 7pm. The crowd was big each night as Polaris hosted top country touring acts like Josh Thompson, who headlined Friday evening and Dierks Bentley, who headlined Saturday evening. There were also activities for the kids, lots of goodie bag giveaways and someone even got the keys to a brand new RZR that Polaris gave away.
The 2014 Polaris Camp RZR at Brimstone was a huge success for Polaris and everyone who attended! Polaris really went all out to make this a great event and it was a great way to say thanks to those of us that support Polaris, we’re looking forward to Camp RZR East in 2015!
