This past June, Yamaha Motor Corp. unveiled the Viking UTV model, the latest EPS Side-by-Side, multi-purpose vehicle. Combining power and comfort, this three-person UTV takes precision steering and world-class handling to a new level.
A complete press release with pictures of the unveiling in Las Vegas is available, but there are a few distinctive features that make this model the new frontrunner in the UTV market:
- Off-set bucket seating for more shoulder room with headrests and seat belts for safety
- The strongest four-wheel drive engine to date: a 686cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder, 4-valve fuel-injected engine that provides peak performance at maximum capacity
- Improved cooling system
- Innovative three-way, On-Command® system, which is driver-controlled rather than automated for handling all types of terrain
- Centrifugal clutch that offers reduced wear for a more natural feel and better braking
- Optional EPS System
With the Viking, Yamaha is pushing the limits of power, durability, and comfort! If you’re interested in the best in UTV innovation, this model deserves a second look. Already have a Yamaha? Find some great UTV accessories!
