We joined thousands of offroad enthusiasts at the WestWorld event center in Scottsdale, Arizona Saturday October 17th for the annual Off-Road Expo! With the cancellation of the popular Sand Sports Super Show in Costa Mesa, California in September, the Sand Show piggybacked the Off-Road Expo this year to draw in more vendors and an even larger crowd. What a success it was! The massive crowd made it apparent that interests where high and enthusiasts were itching to get out and enjoy the show.
The Off-Road Expo featuring the Sand Sports Super Show is one of the biggest dirt and dune expos in the nation. With over 150 exhibitors, the event boasts a huge collection of off-road companies, OEMs, industry experts and off-road celebrities. You’ll find everything from trucks, jeeps and sand cars, to UTVs and motorcycles, as well as the latest in aftermarket UTV products and even camping and adventure travel gear.
Most of the vendors at the expo were aftermarket UTV parts and accessory companies displaying their latest products, which is great for stores like us, it’s the reason we go. It was great to see what’s new and in demand in our industry as well as to catch up with our vendors and scout for new ones. It’s great for attendees as well, you could pick up parts at the show, visit your favorite brands and score some free swag.
One of the best things about the expo is being able to see some amazing builds. The best in the business bring their A game when it comes to the Off-Road Expo, you’ll find some of the sickest UTVs, trucks and sandcars around.
A few of your favorite OEMs were present at the show including Can-Am, Polaris and Kawasaki. Each manufacturer had a great display showing of their latest side by sides and more.
Yamaha wasn’t present, but we did spot the new Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000, it was cool to check it out for the first time.
You also never know what else you might see, there are several really cool and unique custom builds as well like this jacked up Chevy Nova spotted at the BF Goodrich booth.
All in all, the 2020 Off-Road Expo featuring the Sand Sports Super Show was a blast! It was great to catch up with all the aftermarket vendors, check out the cool builds and peep all the aftermarket SxS parts and accessories new to market. If you like sweet rides, free gear, and checking out the latest in UTV innovations we encourage you to put the Off-Road Expo on your list and join the fun next year at the 2021 Off-Road Expo!
